We are going to be looking at several of Roger Williams letters in depth this winter, and we will be doing it virtually!
A lot can be gleaned from seeing an original manuscript. A manuscript is the authors hand putting pen to paper. Thoughts, to hand, to paper and down to us through the ages. It is very different from the printed word. You can see intensity, style, emotions as the words are being written.
We will look at several of Roger Williams letters, one a month, live. Once the letters are read, we will delve into what more can be learned from the handwritten word.
