How to get started

1) Create a USAJOBS.gov account;
2) Create a resume with USAJOBS builder;
3) Upload college transcripts, if applicable;
4) Upload certificates and degrees, if applicable;
5) Apply for jobs!

Seasonal positions typically start in mid-spring and continue through late-summer or early-fall. Jobs are usually advertised sometime during late-fall or early-winter. Permanent positions are advertised on an as-needed basis.

 

NOTE:

Many positions with the National Park Service are advertised for more than one park at a time. If you are interested in working at Salem Maritime National Historic Site, the duty location will be listed as Salem, Massachusetts.
