Contact: Kate Kuykendall, 805-370-2343 NEWBURY PARK, Calif. -- The National Park Service will host a volunteer restoration project at Rancho Sierra Vista in Newbury Park on Saturday, December 1 from 9:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Help rangers restore wildlife habitat by preserving the diversity of native wetlands and grasslands. Volunteers will remove weeds, collect seeds and plant native species. Volunteers should wear long pants and brings gloves and tools if possible. Refreshments will be provided.
