Permit Application Submission Information

Permit applications must be submitted a minimum of 14 days prior to the requested event date.

 

Special Use Permits
The purpose of these permits is to ensure the protection of the park's natural and cultural resources, as well as to minimize conflicts between park visitors and your guests. Activites and events that require a Special Use Permit include:

• After-hours Photography: If you are interested in taking photographs outside of our normal operating hours on a date when there isn't a park-sponsored event, please complete this permit application.
• Commercial Filming & Still Photography

If you plan to film commercially at Salinas, please contact our Special Use Coordinator at 505-847-2585 x221 prior to your filming date in order to obtain more information about filming in the park and to discuss how to minimize potential impacts to visitors and sensitive park resources.

• First Amendment Events
• Weddings (and similar gatherings)

The Use of Drones is Prohibited

Please note that the use of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, including drones, is prohibited in Salinas Pueblo Missions National Monument.
