One wheel, two legs, and a literal prairie schooner. Emigrants were very creative when it came to their transportation. They cobbled together whatever they could get their hands on for this life-altering quest. Join Park Ranger Eric Graves on Friday, August 2nd at 7:00 PM for this FREE program at the wagons on the Oregon Trail Pathway (just to the west of the Scotts Bluff National Monument Visitor Center) to hear about the different ways emigrants traveled, and attempted to travel, from the Missouri River to the Pacific Coast. In the event of inclement weather, the program will be moved to inside the visitor center theater.
