Be Prepared

Emergencies are common in the National Parks, and Sequoia and Kings Canyon is no exception. Over the past three years, our parks have experienced devastating natural forces like the KNP Complex, the Castle Fire, heavy snowpack, and historic flooding. When emergencies like these happen in the parks, updates and information for National Park Service employees will appear here. If there are no emergencies in the parks, resources will still be available here for preparation and planning.
