Once again a nesting pair of bald eagles has taken up residence at Shiloh National Military Park. The new nest is located in the main plaza area of the Shiloh Indian Mounds National Hisotric Landmark, close to Mound A.The Indian Mound Interpretive trail is inaccessible from Mound F through the plaza and to the footbridge east of the Maternal Cluster wayside exhibit. The enclosure is clearly marked. Please respect the enclosure during nesting season and do not disturb the wildlife.
The park will provide updates when the trail is back open. Wildlife can be enjoyed from a distance.
