2/14/2020 - Update

The locomotive portion of the Big Boy sits outside on a cold winter day awaiting its turn in the sandblasting room. All the items on the top of the 16’-3” tall locomotive have been removed. The door to the sandblasting room is only 16 feet tall. The white tarps are protecting the openings in the boiler jacket created by removing the sand and steamdomes.
