Request for Bids (RFB) are used when the amount of rent is the only criterion for award of the lease.
The notice for an RFB must provide at least a thirty (30) day period from the last date of publication for the submission of bids. Bids must be received in a timely manner and at the place designated in the request.
At the discretion of the Deciding Official the notice may require submission of a rent deposit or advance rent payment. Bids will be opened publicly by the National Park Service at the time and place specified in the public notice.
The amount of rent offered must be determined to be at least the fair market value rent.
