Located in the Siskiyou Mountains of southwestern Oregon, Oregon Caves National Monument and Preserve protects the 15,000 feet of marble passages that make up Oregon Caves. The caves were formed over eons of acidic water seeping into the marble rock. Visitors to the 4,554-acre park can enjoy three different cave tours or explore six hiking trails, which meander through the old-growth forest that lies above the cave system.
