Update Your Contact Information

Your Investigator Profile includes basic contact information – address, phone number, name of your institution, etc. This information carries over automatically into permits, reports, and other documents in RPRS. Therefore, you should update it whenever needed.

How to Do This

The Frequent Tasks section of the Investigator Profile. It includes a link called Change my Work Contact Information.

On your Investigator Dashboard, under the “Frequent Tasks” section, click “Change my Work Contact Information.” Doing so brings you to your Investigator Profile. There you can change several fields that make up your contact information. Note that you cannot change your first name, last name, or email address – they are greyed out. The only way to change those items is to update your login.gov account. If you change information there, it will carry over next time you log in to RPRS.
