Thing to Do
Explore the Mission Grounds

The biggest draw to Tumacácori will likely be the large 3-story adobe church at its center. However, a mission was more than just a church. Explore the rest of the grounds, including the cemetery, the orchard, the re-constructed O'odham ki, and other features to get a fuller picture of what mission life entailed.

Accessibility Information
The trails are paved and accessible, however some features require moving off the trail to explore fully. The trail does not extend into the interior of the storeroom, cemetery, ki, orchard, and acequia.
There are two access points to the church, both equipped with ramps. The front door has a ramp leading down into the nave. At the north end of the nave are 5 stairs with hand rails leading up to the sanctuary. The sanctuary can also be accessed by a ramp from the side entrance into the sacristy. The church floor is composed of brick tiles which may be rough and uneven for wheelchair-users.
Service animals required because of a disability are allowed everywhere in the mission grounds.
