Thing to Do
Fishing at the Castle Rocks Fish Pond

The fishing pond is located just inside the entrance of Castle Rocks State Park about a hundred yards from the main road. Besides fishing, the pond is also a great place to watch birds and wildlife. There is a walking path and benches to sit and enjoy the scenery, as well as a picnic table and fire ring.
The pond is stocked with trout by the Idaho Department of Fish and Game. Fishing is open year round, and is subject to Idaho's fishing regulations and daily bag limits. For more information visit the Idaho Fish and Game website.
Castle Rocks State Park is open from 7:00 am - 10:00 pm year round.
