Located approximately 50 miles (80.5 km) from the Tri-Cities in Washington, the Yakama Nation Cultural Center preserves and interprets the living culture of the Yakama people. The Yakama homeland extends across the Columbia Plateau, including the Hanford Site and Tri-Cities. The museum’s displays include dioramas, traditional dress, crafts, and housing. The cultural center also includes the Yakama Nation Library, a gift shop featuring the work of indigenous artists and artisans, and a theater featuring performances of Yakama traditional culture.
