Thing to Do
Oasis Visitor Center Boardwalk

Gustave Pellerin
Alligators, alligators, and more alligators. The boardwalk direclty in front of the Oasis Visitor Center is a great place to see alligators, fish, birds, and turtles. Oh, and did we mention alligators? During the dry season, as the the swamp dries up, the wildlife is forced to congregate in fewer areas where there is still water. From November to May, this is a great spot to view numerous alligators from a safe perspective.
The boardwalk is only about 200 yards long, but it provides a great perspective of some of the wildlife here at Big Cypress National Preserve
