Paddle Hoyes Run to Sang Run on the Upper Youghiogheny

Depends on water level, type of water craft, ability and type of shuttle. If combined with a whitewater trip downstream from Sang Run, the duration will be longer and, again, depend on shuttle options (i.e., personal or use of an outfitter).

This section of river is also appropriate for paddling a canoe and for rafting, and there are a number of outfitters in the area. Fishing is also popular.
