If you are looking to see the most petroglyphs or for a trail that is open until sunset, Piedras Marcadas Canyon is for you. It is a 1.5 mile round trip hike that will take an hour or more to hike. This is also the most dog friendly petroglyph viewing hike, with leashed pets being allowed along the whole length of the trail.

Pets are allowed and must be on a 6 ft. leash. Owners must be in control of pets at all times. Owners must have bags to pick up and carry pet waste. Do not leave pet waste bags beside the trail. Place it in a trash can at the trailhead as you are leaving.

This is a 6.5 mile drive from the visitor center that will take around 15 minutes.
Directions:
Exit visitor center parking lot and turn left onto Unser Blvd.
Turn right on Montaño Rd.
Turn left on Taylor Ranch Rd.
Stay right as it turns inot Golf Course Rd.
Turn left on Jill Patricia St.
Turn right into the parking lot.
No RV parking available.
