Located at 193 Derby Street, Waite & Peirce is a specialty gift shop named after the owners of the original tall ship Friendship. Shipping partners Aaron Waite (1742-1830) and Jerathmiel Peirce (1747-1827) conducted business for almost 50 years from Salem and Beverly, Massachusetts.

The main entrance to the building is located at 193 Derby Street. There is a concrete wheelchair accessible ramp with metal handrails on the side of the building. Benches are located outside offering a place to sit and relax.
