Thing to Do
Sunsets at Lake Meredith

NPS Photo
Texas has some of the most incredible sunsets in America. Several movies were filmed not far from Lake Meredith ending with a breath-taking Texas sunset. Watching vibrant colors of orange, pink, blue, purple, yellow, and turquoise painted all over the sky can be a rich experience.
At Lake Meredith, sunset can be intense, yet surprising . A choice spot to view sunsets is on the north side of the lake at North View Point. Check out the sunset times with the local weather service and head to North Point. Take a camera and catch a beautiful moment in time. When the days are short and the nights are long, nothing is better than watching a Lake Meredith sunset with some hot cocoa, soup, or coffee.
