Long Loop: Stone Family Cemetery

This trail is a longer segment that leads to the Stone Family Cemetery and back to the Visitor Center. It is a 1.2 mile, moderate, round trip hike.

The trail starts to the left of the front entrance to the park Visitor Center by the park orientation wayside. Head South for approximately 600 yards and the trail will veer right. There is a steep decline (approximately 7% grade) of approximately 200 yards at this spot and loose gravel can cause footing issues. Continue on the trail for approximately 800 yards until you see a second orientation wayside. Turn right and follow the trail for 300 yards to a split in the trail. Follow the right fork of the trail for approximately 200 yards until you reach the cemetery.

Thomas Stone National Historic Site:
- Parking: one accessible space at the Visitor Center and one at the Mansion
- Visitor Center Entrance: Front and side doors to Visitor Center open outwards. A button can be pushed to automatically open or it can be manually opened.
- Nature Trail System: A variety of surfaces are on different trails. Surfaces consist of boardwalk, loose gravel, grass, and dirt. The trail segment from the Visitor Center to the Stone Family Cemetery is the most accessible trail.
- Restrooms: Men's and Women's both wheelchair accessible.
