Watch the Theodore Roosevelt National Park Film: Refuge of the American Spirit

NPS Photo/A. Hoffman
There are many ways to start a visit to Theodore Roosevelt National Park, but one of the best is to stop by a visitor center and view the park film, Refuge of the American Spirit! A great introduction to the park, this film discusses Roosevelt's time in the badlands, the history of the park, and some of what a visitor can expect to see. With wonderful narration from conservationist Terry Tempest Williams and a beautiful score, Refuge of the American Spirit is 17 minutes well spent.
