Multiple monument located at Louisiana Circle on South Washington Street. This unit was attached to Col. Edward Higgins' River Defense Batteries, Lt. Gen. John C. Pemberton's Army of Vicksburg, and commanded by Maj. Frederick N. Ogden. Companies B, E Multiple iron tablet located outside of Vicksburg National Military Park, on the northwest corner of Depot and Pearl Streets. This unit was attached to the "Depot Battery." Company B was commanded by Capt. R. C. Barrow, and Company E was commanded by Capt. Toby Hart. The "Depot Battery" was located adjacent to the depot and mounted one 10-inch Columbiad gun.
