Pursue a career with the National Park Service right here in Connecticut. Weir Farm NHP is always on the lookout for positive, highly motivated staff with the ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage their time wisely.

National Park Service positions at Weir Farm NHP are federal jobs. As such, applications are posted through USA Jobs (usajobs.gov).

Typical job openings include seasonal park ranger and maintenance worker positions. These positions work Wednesday through Sunday for the park’s six-month season. Seasonal job openings are routinely posted in November and start the following April, so be sure to check USA Jobs often!

Through partnerships with stewardship organizations, Weir Farm NHP offers youth interns 30 years and under:

• Hands-on National Park Service experience and professional development

• Public Land Corps hiring authority to help when applying for future jobs in the NPS
