Guardrail repair project begins October 7 at Wind Cave National Park

HOT SPRINGS, SD – Crews will be working along Highway 385 to repair damaged guardrails necessitating lane closures beginning October 7. There are two half mile sections needing repair. Repairs will begin first on Highway 385 leading out of the park toward Custer, followed by work along the southern end of Wind Cave Canyon.

Temporary traffic signal lights will be installed. Motorists can expect delays of five to ten minutes. The entire project is expected to take two weeks and be completed by approximately October 20.
