Camping at Wind CaveThe Elk Mountain Campground is open year-round and is the only campground in the park. Sites are first-come, first-served and the campground usually does not fill. Drinking water and flush restrooms are available in the summer months. Camping Outside the ParkCuster State Park, bordering Wind Cave National Park to the north, has campgrounds, restaurants, motels, and some grocery services. Information is available on the Custer State Park website or by calling 605-255-4515. Camping reservations for Custer State Park may be made by calling 1-800-710-2267.
