Let a park ranger be your guide! The National Park Service App is the official app for all 420+ national parks. The app was created by National Park Service staff—people who know national parks—to help you make the most of your visit. Unlike other apps, the NPS Mobile App takes authoritative information from park rangers, including interactive maps, saved data for offline use when in a remote area with no internet service, accessibility, self-guided tours, things to do, where to stay, shareable digital postcards, passport stamp locations, points of interest and operating hours and seasons. Download the official NPS mobile app before your next visit or take a virtual tour of the park. Audio Description accessibility
This app includes audio description designed to assist blind and low vision visitors in navigating and experiencing exhibit spaces at the parks listed in the app. At some parks, the content has been paired with bluetooth proximity triggers that automatically update and provide description for what's nearby as you walk through exhibits. Check at the main visitor center desk for more information about what's available. This app is designed to be used with the screenreader voiceover (apple devices) or talkback (android devices) on your phone. |
