Use the tips on the following pages to plan your park visit. The Mesa Verde Visitor & Research Center and Mesa Verde Museum are open nearly all year (only closed Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Day). But some areas including Wetherill Mesa and overnight accommodations are closed during the winter months. Be sure to check the park's seasonal Visitor Guides and the Visitor Services and Interpretive Programs page for details on services and activities available during the time of your visit.
