Notes: He was a presidial soldier at San Miguel de Horcasitas, recruited to go with the Anza Expedition to the Río San Francisco in Alta California on April 14, 1775. He travelled to California with his wife and family. Their fourth child and second son, Salavador Ignacio Linares, born at 10:45 P.M. on Christmas Eve, December 24, 1775 in Coyote Canyon, was the last of eight children born on the way to Alta California. == "On July 18, [1770], I married and veiled in ecclesiastical matrimony, the necessary marriage banns having preceeded, -- Ignacio Linares and María Gertrudis de Ribas --.
