The Smokies is dedicated to creating a welcoming work environment with an emphasis in equity, inclusion and diversity.

There are many internships in the park. They vary in position and length, and housing is provided.

Americorps positions within the park. These positions are provided housing at no cost to the member, a living stipend, and an education award. Many of our former members are now current permanent employees in the Smokies and other National Parks.

Work Experience
