Plan for routine road maintenance along the Spur in Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

GATLINBURG, Tenn.—Visitors should prepare for planned routine road maintenance in Great Smoky Mountains National Park. 

Park maintenance crews will implement temporary, single-lane closures along the north and southbound Spur between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge on the following dates: 

• April 26 (7:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.) 

• April 28 to May 1 (7 a.m. to 4 p.m.) 

• May 5 to May 8 (7 a.m. to 4 p.m.) 

Crews will be mowing, cleaning ditches, removing fallen trees and branches, and picking up litter and debris. 

Drivers are advised to reduce their speeds, exercise extra caution, and anticipate delays during road maintenance.
