Cosby is a less-traveled area on the northeast edge of the park near the communities of Cosby and Hartford. At its heart is the scenic Cosby Creek, which flows through a large cove shaded by hardwood forest. Cosby is known for its spring wildflowers, fall leaf color, historic cemeteries, and old-growth forest. The area includes a picnic area, a spacious campground, and access to multiple trails.
