No entrance pass required
An entrance pass is not required to access Lyndon B Johnson National Historical Park. Other National Park Service sites may require an entrance pass or fee. Depending on your trip plans, an interagency pass may save you money. There are no entrance fees to enter either Lyndon B. Johnson National Historical Park or Lyndon B. Johnson State Park and Historic Site.
Visitors DO NEED to pick up a FREE driving permit before entering the LBJ Ranch. These permits are issued at the Lyndon B. Johnson State Park and Historic Site visitor center. The State Park visitor center is located on Highway 290 halfway between Johnson City and Fredericksburg.
