Cashless Payments on Pay.Gov

How many times have you shown up and struggled to make exact change for campground fees in a self-service envelope? The new online payment service through Pay.Gov is more convenient, secure, and greatly reduces administrative overhead for park staff, giving us more time and resources to serve you in other ways. Make sure you understand that these payments do not secure or reserve a site.

Midhills and Hole-in-the-Wall Individual Sites

Fees are $12 ($6 with a valid Senior or Access Pass)
Sites are first come, first served, no reservations are accepted
Online payment does not secure or reserve a site
If you pay beforehand, and no sites are available, a refund is available by contacting us here
Public Wifi is available at Hole in the Wall Visitor Center to access Pay.Gov

Black Canyon Equestrian and Group Sites

Fees are $25 each ($12.50 with a valid Senior or Access Pass)
Reservations must be made by calling a ranger at 760-252-6100
Payment information and link will be included in your reservation confirmation

How to Make Payments on Pay.Gov

  1. VIsit the Pay.Gov Site for Mojave National Preserve before you arrive or by using the public wifi at Hole-in-the-Wall Visitor Center
  2. Ensure the URL is https://www.pay.gov/public/form/start/1141763174
  3. Sign in or Register for a Pay.Gov account
  4. Select the appropriate fees for the desired campsite, and your applicable Senior or Access Pass
  5. Pay your fees by Credit, Debit, Bank Account, or PayPal Inc.
  6. Save Your Pay.Gov Confirmation Number to display to a ranger or place on the fee envelope at the campground.
