Completed officially in 2001, the Oklahoma City National Memorial consists of the Outdoor Symbolic Memorial and the Oklahoma City National Memorial Museum. The Oklahoma City National Memorial and Museum was designed to "...remember those who were killed, those who survived, and those changed forever" by the attack on April 19, 1995 and the events that followed. The Memorial Museum consists of two floors of exhibit space that detail the bombing and its aftermath, including the rescue efforts and the investigation that followed.
