Fees & Passes

 

Entrance to the park is free, but there is a fee for a cave tour. Cave access is by tour only.

Cave Tours

Cave tours are closed for the winter. Due to a heavy snow load opening day is postponed. Weather and snow permitting, the 2024 tour season will begin March 30th.
Early spring tours will be offered five days per week, Thursday through Monday. Closed Tuesday and Wednesday. A limited amount of tours will be available through April 20th. First come, first served, 10:00AM to 4:00PM.
To make sure a tour is available, we strongly advise stopping first at the Illinois Valley Visitor Center in Cave Junction. It is a 45-minute drive one-way to get to the cave.
Cave tours will be offered seven days per week beginning Memorial Day Weekend through at least Labor Day. Fall hours to be determined. The last day of the season will be November 3rd, 2024

Discovery Cave Tour

$10.00 Adults, ages 16 and over
$7.00 Youth, ages 15 and under. Children must be 42 in. (107 cm) tall or taller to take the tour
$5.00 Interagency Senior Pass Cardholders ages 62 and over**
$5.00 Interagency Access Pass Cardholders ages 16 and over**


Offered daily, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, through Labor Day. September 05, 2023 through November 05, 2023, open Thursday through Monday, closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

90-minutes. Moderatly strenuous.

Reservations advised during summer months. First come, first served tickets are available at the Illinois Valley Visitor Center, 201 Caves Hwy, in Cave Junction. We recommend stopping there first before driving to the cave as it will take an hour to get to you tour start location.

Children must be over 42" tall.

Large Groups: Discovery Cave tours are limited to 12 people. For large groups, help us help you - please call ahead. We cannot reserve space for you, but we can try to schedule extra guides for the time of your visit for multiple back-to-back tours. 541-592-2100 x2262.

 

Candlelight Cave Tour

$10.00 Adults, ages 16 and over
$7.00 Youth, ages 10 to 15.
$5.00 Interagency Senior Pass Cardholders ages 62 and over**
$5.00 Interagency Access Pass Cardholders ages 16 and over**

Offered during summer months, 2024 to be determinned.
60-minutes. Moderately Strenuous.
Children must be 10-years or older.

Kids and Families Tour

$10.00 Adults, ages 16 and over

* The Interagency Annual Pass and the Interagency Annual Pass for Active Duty US Military are for park entrance fees only and do not apply for tour fees. (There is no entrance fee to enter the park.)

**The Interagency Access and Senior Passes give the cardholder (only) half-off (50%) on all applicable tours. Passes and cardholder's ID are required at check in, including reservation tours. Please do not leave passes in your vehicle.
