Historical Documentation:

Originally part of the Elijah Behunin homestead, this land was owned by Joseph Cook (1902-1916), Andrew Adams (1916-1930), and Merin and Cora Smith (1930-1945). It is not known what association, if any, Abie Clarke had to the property. [32] In 1940 there were approximately 3.5 acres farmed at this site. The orchard was replanted in 1988. New trees were established on the east side of the field. Approximately .6 acres of land were lost to development.
