How It Works
-
Plan your visit. Check the calendar for the schedule and any updates.
-
Request a ride. When you’re ready to go to San Antonio Missions National Historical Park on September 6, request a ride using the app.
-
If using Uber, add the code rgD2c1wE6j6 to your account. It will be applied when requesting a trip. This code is good for one round-trip ride to the park.
-
If using Lyft, tap the Menu icon in the upper lefthand corner. Then tap Rewards and enter the code SANANTONIO2024. It will be applied when requesting your ride to and from San Antonio Missions National Historical Park. This code is good for one round-trip ride to the park.
-
Bring your family and friends and enjoy your park. All riders will be dropped off at Mission San Jose, one of the four missions within San Antonio National Historical Park and where the Military Appreciation Day event is happening.
-
Request a ride home. The same ride code can be used to cover your ride home.
-
Tell us about it. Tell us about your experience!
If you can’t make the trip for Military Appreciation Day on September 6, we hope you can join us for our Veterans Day event on November 11th—come back to this page for more details! And, these ride codes can also be used any time between now and November 25. Just remember, only one ride code per servicemember, and it can only be used to get to San Antonio Missions National Historical Park.
About San Antonio Missions National Historical Park
San Antonio Missions National Historical Park preserves four Spanish colonial missions, including the history of the Indigenous groups that lived on the lands prior to European arrivals. The four missions – Mission Conception, Mission San Jose, Mission San Juan, and Mission Espada – were established in the early 1700s along the San Antonio River. Click here for more information!
-

Here, visitors can visit the museum and watch a screening of a short film or take ranger- or self-guided walks of the mission.
-
Mission San Juan (9101 Graf Rd, San Antonio, TX 78214): Visitors to this mission can walk the grounds, explore the church and museum, and take the quarter-mile paved Yanaguana Trail to an original stretch of the San Antonio River. This location also has public restrooms and a picnic area.
-
Mission Espada (10040 Espada Rd, San Antonio, TX 78214): At the southernmost mission in the park, visitors can explore the grounds, church, and park museum.
