The visitor center, located at Lincoln Home National Historic Site, has several accessible features. There are labeled, accessibility-reserved parking spaces located at the north end of the visitor center parking lot, closest to the building. The route to the visitor center from the parking lot is paved. There is a ramp located to the left of the stairs and brown welcome sign in the parking lot to allow access to the building. The visitor center is a single level, with no stairs inside. There are accessible restroom stalls available.
 

Service Animals

 
Service animals are welcome in all public areas of the site. Service animals are defined as any dogs or miniature horses trained to perform tasks that assist persons with disabilities. Service animals are also allowed inside the visitor center located at Lincoln Home National Historic Site.

Emotional support animals or companion animals are also welcome in all outdoor areas, but not inside the visitor center. These are animals that provide therapeutic services through companionship.
