Springfield 1908 Race Riot National Monument is a new national park located in the central Illinois town of Springfield. The park is currently part of an active railroad construction zone and not accessible to the public. Over the coming years, the National Park Service will work with the local community and partners to plan for future development and visitor experiences associated with the new park.
