National Park Service Teaching with Museum Collections lesson unit plans use NPS museum collections in student-centered educational activities. The collections tell the story of America; its peoples, history, cultures, significant events and ideas that continue to inspire the world. The lesson plans emphasize links between the ‘real things’ -- the collections, and the people and places where these objects were found or used. Lesson plans link to national education standards.
