The park is open year-round. The primary months to visit are June - August, with reduced services during the shoulder seasons.

The weather at Kenai Fjords is difficult to predict and can change rapidly.
This is Alaska - remote, rugged, and unpredictable. Anything can happen from wildlife encounters to changing weather. Be prepared.
Join a park ranger for a short walk, interpretive talk, or a day hike and learn more about your park.
Exit Glacier, the only part of the park accessible by road, offers short trails, viewpoints, and a nature center.
